    Job Offer
    Dynamic42 GmbH operates as a contract research organization in the market segment of preclinical drug development, testing the effects of drug candidates on human in vitro organs, disease and infection models. Our company is located in Jena at the Technology Center Beutenberg Campus. We are a young, growth-oriented company where cutting-edge technologies are developed and adapted for commercialization. In our company, the maintenance of cell culture/biochips, the preparation and performance of biological analyses and the management of biological samples represent central fields of activity.

    To strengthen our laboratory team we are looking for a scientist in the field of microphysiological systems / organ-on-chip models.
  • Qualifikationen:

    Your profile
    • Degree and doctorate in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular medicine or comparable subjects in the life sciences.
    • Several years of extensive practical experience in cell culture and 3D cell culture.
    • Optional: several years of practical experience in the cultivation of microorganisms.
    • Knowledge in the field of organ-on-chip / microphysiological systems is an advantage.
    • Good language skills in English.
    • High degree of initiative, independence, and careful and structured working style.
    • High degree of responsibility.
    • Team player, sociable, friendly appearance.
    • Not shy of customer contact, willing to work on customer orders (pharma, biotech, chemical).
    • Extensive experience in analysis, sample management, chemiluminescence- and fluorescence-based assays, immunofluorescence, cell microscopy; experience in LC/MS is also desirable.
    • Experience in creating and handling SOPs and procedural instructions as well as working according
    to ISO9001 is an advantage.

    Your challenges
    • Execution and processing of customer orders as well as further development projects.
    • Supervision of cell cultures, optionally microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses).
    • Set-up and support of organ-on-chip models.
    • Preparation of study plans, SOPs and grant applications.
    • Preparation of scientific data.
    • Data presentations for customers & at scientific congresses.
