PISC travel award for a student or early-career scientist Featured

The PETA International Science Consortium Ltd. (PISC) is offering a travel award to provide a student or early-career scientist the opportunity to attend the Summer School on Innovative
Approaches in Science happening June 22-25, 2020 at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, US.


Focusing on innovative non-animal testing approaches, such as in vitro and computational methods, the summer school will include informative lectures by experts in these fields, networking events, laboratory visits, and more. Hosted by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and the Johns Hopkins University Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT), the workshop is free to attend. The winner of this award will receive reimbursement for hotel accommodation and airfare. The summer school is divided into toxicology and biomedical sciences tracks, and this award is available only to attendees of the toxicology track.

The application deadline is March 23, 2020.
