The Senate Department for Justice, Consumer Protection and Anti-Discrimination, the State Office for Health and Social Affairs and the Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (vfa) are once again offering the "Alternatives to Animal Testing" research prize of the State of Berlin to promote the development of replacement and supplementary methods in accordance with the 3Rs principle. The prize is awarded every two years.
The application deadline is 31.08.2021.

Animal Welfare Research Award Berlin 2021 Featured
This year, Berlin has again announced a prize to promote research into replacement and supplementary methods for animal experiments in teaching and research. This year's prize money amounts to 30,000 euros.
