Research Collaboration between EPA and Unilever Featured

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Unilever corporation have announced a cooperative agreement to research better methods for assessing chemical risks associated with consumer products.

This agreement builds on previous collaboration between EPA and Unilever on new methods (NAMs), which are promising alternatives to conventional toxicity testing and are expected to reduce reliance on animal testing.
