Reduction Grant
This grant supports research projects aimed at reducing animal use by identifying areas where animal models lack reproducibility and translational value. It is intended for researchers conducting systematic reviews, meta-analyses, citation analyses, or similar work with the goal of reducing animal use in science.
Humane Education Grant
This grant supports the development of animal-free training resources for veterinary, medical, or laboratory education. It is intended for educators and training material developers who aim to foster respect and compassion for animals through innovative teaching materials.
Grant Details
• Each grant provides USD 6,000
• No Facilities and Administrative Costs are allowed
• Preference will be given to projects with broad applicability and significant potential impact on animal protection and science
Proposal Requirements
Proposals should provide a detailed description of the planned study, anticipated outcomes, and data evaluation methods. Submissions should not exceed ten pages (excluding CV). A breakdown of the proposed budget, including any additional funding sources, must be included.

Successful applicants are expected to submit a manuscript of their project and its outcome to a professional journal. Acceptance of the award implies that funds for the proposed research are not currently available from other sources.
