Japan: Asahi Group will ban animal testing for food and beverage by the end of 2021 Featured

On July 10, Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. (Asahi Group) which owns Asahi Breweries, Asahi Soft Drinks, and Asahi Group Foods responded to JAVA's request to ban animal testing.

Asahi Group responded to JAVA (Japan Anti-Vivisection Association, located in Tokyo) that they will totally ban animal testing for food and beverages by the end of 2021. They also said that they will ban animal testing for cosmetics and quasi-drugs immediately.
